FairUse4WM doesn't work with the latest versions of the Windows Media Player. And as you can see you may see in the "Remove copy-protection" forum it has some requirements such as WMP version not higher than 11.0.5705.5043. However even old version of WMP doesn't guarantee that it will work for you. And video services, digital music services sometimes force you to upgrage your WMP to the latest version.

Different types of licenses can be used by media services so it is hard to tell whether or not it will be possible to remove DRM after recording with WM Recorder.

You can always count on screen video capture software when removing DRM protection from video files.

There is one more problem you may face. Removing DRM protection from media files that you don't own (such as from subscription based services) is beyond making fair use backups so it will be much harder to get any help on removing such protection.
