In what mode did you record the stream with
WM Recorder?
It could be a Windows Media live playlist. To record it you should use
WM Recorder in the PRO Auto recording mode:

Even if it is not a Windows Media live playlist you shouldn't have any problem recording such streams with
WM Recorder in the PRO Auto recording mode. WM Recorder is the most powerful Windows Media stream recorder. It can record more Windows Media streams than any other stream recorder. But I suggest you to read its user guide to use its full potential 'coz some difficult Windows Media streams require WM Recorder recording mode to be changed.
