That was it!!!!!!!!!
I have followed the above instructions and WM14 is now working as I thought it should. It no longer stops soon after it starts recording.
The download time for me is not as fast as Leslie´s demo, but I think that is to do with my broadband connection. My useless ISP will not supply me with more than 1 MB in my area.
Try it guys. This has solved my issues.
