Re: recording radio show from website

I'm not sure whether I got it right. But I went to the archive
_http://64.27.15.184/parchive/

and found the following:
"Something's Happening with Roy of Hollywood Part A
Dave Emory "For the Record #705 - Update on 9/11 and Related Matters” // Silvia Ribeiro, "Geoengineering the Planet" Addressing the Effects, not the Causes, of Climate Change // Peter Dale Scott on Thomas Merton, "The Many Gated City" // Eben Rey, "Radio Alchymy" with Bob Chapman, The International Forecaste"

It has a link leading to
_http://64.27.15.184/parchive/m3u.php?mp3fil=26817

If you right click on a link and save it as an m3u.php (or m3u.txt) file, and then open it with a text editor like Windows Notepad, you should see something like

Code:
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:8719,,Something's Happening with Roy of Hollywood Part A Thursday, April 29, 2010
http://64.27.15.184/parchive/mp3/kpfk_100429_000100somethingshappeningA.MP3
Copy the URL of the MP3 file and use it in your browser or any download manager (there are lots of free ones) to download the MP3 file.

You can also download most content from the archive using your favorite podcast manager. If you do it with iTunes, then just sync with iPod using iTunes. Otherwise drag-n-drop your MP3 files onto iTunes and then sync with your iPod.

Of course you can use Replay AV to find MP3 stream URLs, download them (or download MP3 podcasts with it) and add downloads to iTunes, but the program is not free, so if you need it for this web-site only, you can do everything with your browser, iTunes and Notepad only.
