Intel WiDi (Wireless Display Interface) allows to connect laptops to an HDTV. It uses standard 802.11n wireless technologies for data transmission. The laptop needs to have Intel Wireless Display software installed. And an adapter featuring Intel Wireless Display is required to receive the signals from the PC that display them on the HDTV. This adapter can be connected to the HDTV via HDMI or standard AV cable.
