How to record music from Spotify with Spotify Ripper
  1. Download Spotify Ripper and extract the contents of the archive.
All recorded music will be saved into the same folder where the Spotify Ripper resides.
  2. Start Spotify and make sure there are no music tracks playing.
  3. Start Spotify Ripper by launching "Spotify Ripper.exe".
  4. Mark the "Logg" box. A small window will appear on your screen, telling you the status of your recording process.
  5. Hit "Hitta Spotify". This will allows Spotify Ripper to be connected to Spotify, so that Spotify Ripper can rename recordings correctly.
If everything went fine, you will see the "Spotify hittat" message in the log.
  6. Hit "Rippa". This will make Spotify Ripper wait for Spotify to start playing a track and start ripping it while it plays.
When a song ends, Spotify Ripper will convert the track to an .mp3 file which will be renamed automatically. Simultaneously Spotify Ripper will be recording the next music track from Spotify playlist.
  7. Hit the "Rippa" again to stop recording from Spotify.
  8. You can go to Spotify and select playlists, tracks or albums that your want to play. Spotify ripper will record them while they are being played.
Please note that any background sounds and noises will be recorded by Spotify Ripper. It is highly recommended to to turn of system sounds, close any instant messengers, e-mail clients or any programs that can produce sound that you don't want to record.

If Spotify Ripper doesn't work for you, try starting Spotify Ripper before you start Spotify. You can also and restart both Spotify and Spotify ripper.

If Spotify Ripper doesn't work for you, you can try Replay Music. The latter program can record music even if your sound card doesn't have the stereo mix. It is compatible with Windows 7/Vista/XP. And it can record not only from Spotify, but almost from any online music service and Internet radio station.
