The problem with RTMP radio streams is that radio stations change them in many cases, so you need to find a new URL just before recording.

Replay AV can record RTMP radio streams on schedule, although it records such streams from your sound card:

Because you know scripting, if you manage to find stream URLs for radio stations that you need, you can download them with freeware
rtmpdump. Just schedule your script with cron.
You can share your script at sourceforge.net so that other users can record such RTMP streams from radio stations.
