I think it is better to use DRM removal software for Windows to remove DRM protection from WMA files. Then you can listen to the DRM-free music on any device you have, in any OS you have, including Linux.

You can also try to play DRM protected WMA files with MPlayer for Linux. You need to find SID for your DRM-protected WMA file before playing it in Linux. This can be done with freeme2.
