Hi,
I also recognized, that
drmdbg 2009/03/03 can extract keys for IBX 11.0.6001.8015. But using drm2wmv (got it with automate undrm v 2.0 - drm2wmv.exe is of 2006/04/22) to decrypt wma-files results in a
crackling short file - the wma is obviously damaged. This can have two possible reasons:
1.
The extracted key is wrong, drm2wmv does not recognize this and seems to decrypt the wma although the result is a lot of trash. In this case a new version of drmdbg would be needed.
2.
The wma file is formatted another way than before so that drm2wmv is working incorrectly. A new version of drm2wmv would be needed.
Now my assumption is, that point 2 is correct. Why?
1. I was able to
re-individualize my system with the v11.0.6000.6234 Indiv01.key (made a backup before starting
Napster and replaced the 11.0.6001.8015 files in DRM-folder with the previous ones

).
2. I downloaded another file from Napster, was able to play it back with the v11.0.6000.6234 key in Windows Mediaplayer. So obviously I have back my old key.
3. Could extract the key for the wma with drmdbg 2009/03/03 (this version works for v11.0.6000.6234 as expected)
4. Nevertheless got a damaged file when decrypting the wma with drm2wmv

.
So do you have any ideas - maybe if there is a newer version of drm2wmv?
Some specs from my system:
Windows XP SP2
Windows MediaPlayer 11 without latest updates (Updates disabled since half a year or so)
By the way: The Indiv01.key is obviously just a DLL with file extension .key - some people call this 'security through obscurity'

.
