It is pretty hard to suggest the best recorder. None of them is perfect. And it really depends on the web-sites you need to record from, because web-sites use different streaming formats and protocols.

I should add that GetFLV can record videos protected with RTMPE secure protocol and SWF verification. Replay Media Catcher and Jaksta can't do that anymore because these companies are based in the U.S. GetFLV and nobody knows how long the company will be able to sell and support the product, but add at the present time it works great with many sites.
