Unable to save RTMP stream in proper format!Does the file already exist in the storag

I am using Replay Media Catcher 3.01 and I get the following errors from time to time:
"Unable to save RTMP stream in proper format! Does the file already exist in the storage directory?"

A typical example is the BBC Radio 4 program "in our time". The name as it appears while recording seems to be
Code:
"RBN2_radio_4_fm_-_thursday_0900_b00|16q8_2009_06_18_09_00_30_31B754 CF"
During the download there is the usual target and green arrow to the left of the name. If i select stop and save i get the exclamation mark and the transfer property box says "Unable to save RTMP stream in proper format! Does the file already exist in the storage directory?"

The file downloads and plays fine (after I add the flv extension), it isn't clipped or damaged in any way. But after RMC fails to get a meaningful file name, it puts up the red exclamation point, and leaves the file without an extension. The target file name is as above. The rename box is disabled so I cannot rename it. I have to go to windows and manually name the file and add an extension.

This is just a nuisance, really, but I'd rather not have to deal with it. At least put the extension on the file name so it can be played.
