Thank You everyone. I have uninstalled liteCam as I was never able to get an audio source that worked from the audio options box. I proceeded to try WMCapture and Replay Video Capture, all with the same problem.

Then I downloaded the Ask Toolbar. That worked like a charm. There are just a few remaining questions. Firstly, what file format does this Ask toolbar save in and secondly, can it be edited for youtube in this file format?
And what does this mean for the screencapture software? Does this give some indication of why the liteCAM, WMCapture, or Replay Video Capture audio did not work?
