screen capture software question

I would like to know if WM Capture/ Replay Video Capture produces lesser quality videos than capture software like Litecam HD, Bandicam, etc. That advertises they can do 720p/ 1080p recordings. Can't figure out why the WM and Replay capture software wouldn't advertise it. The last question is if HUFFY UV is still the recommended codec of choice when using capture software (assuming lossless is still the top option). I am hoping the site admin and other knowledgeable folks could provide an answer to these questions
