Re: What is RTMPSRV-VLC ?

To run RTMPSRV-VLC in windows use RTMPDUMPHELPER.

Rename RTMPSRV.EXE to anything, move it, or delete it.

Rename RTMPSRV-VLC.EXE to RTMPSRV.EXE.

Set RTMPDUMPHELPER to run RTMPSRV, and it will run RTMPSRV-VLC believing it runs RTMPSRV.

Proven to work.

RTMPSRV-VLC creates COMMAND.TXT and VLC.BAT.

If there are special characters within RTMPDUMP parameters, COMMAND.TXT and VLC.BAT will not be the same.

Params from VLC.BAT are the ones to be used with batch files.

COMMAND.TXT :

-C NS:encodedUser:ZnJlZWxvYWRlcg%3D%3D%3F%3D

VLC.BAT :

-C NS:encodedUser:ZnJlZWxvYWRlcg%%3D%%3D%%3F%%3D

My VLC is not in "C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" so it does not pop-up.

I don't understand what I can do with that information. Can you give me an example? Thanks again!
