rtmpdump Git and SVN

recently it has been changed from
svn co svn://svn.mplayerhq.hu/rtmpdump/trunk rtmpdump

to
git clone git://git.ffmpeg.org/rtmpdump

for downloading the source

1. is svn not being used anymore for RTMPdump?

2. if so, why is svn still showing for older releases?

3. if git is the new way of things, how do you get a specific older
release with git, for example r562

Updates have been through Git since then.
