Renaming unDRMed files (removing NODRM tag from multiple files)

Does anyone know of alternate software (like fairuse) that doesn't "BUG" the tag?

IE: NODRM-Artist-Title.wma
(which can be time consuming to remove)

Thanks, Rob

You don't have to rename files one by one manually. You can use freeware program called Bulk Rename to remove the "NODRM" prefix from multiple file names.

Besides you can use automation tools for FairUse4WM like FU4WMCommander that will remove the "NODRM" prefix for you.

Question about fair use

Can I tell it to stop adding "NO DRM" to the title of the .wma?

Hi Rob,

I found it by googling "Bulk Rename", and here it is:

Re: Renaming unDRMed files (removing NODRM tag from multiple files)

going to try this again.

Installed fair use commander, but theres a problem. selected a bunch of files to be convereted, press the "remove DRM" section the following error occurs:

"the system cannot find the file specified"

(whatever that means)

how can i

1) remove the DRM with this thing
2) remove the "no drm" as well?

this doesn't seem to be working for me
