It does work with the ADA mode though.

Also, is there a way to download Quicktime movies while staying undetected?
WM Recorder works fine for me in the PRO mode. Try to submit a support ticket to make it work for you.

May be WM Recorder can capture QuickTime HTTP videos:

WM Recorder and LOOPBACK

WM Recorder is a stream or file downloader. In order to capture any data it must successfully connect to a remote web site and download files (DOWNLOAD mode).
LOOPBACK can be used as a downloader (DOWNLOAD mode) but its main use is to loop back the browser data and dump it to a file without connecting to the Internet (LOOPBACK mode).

WM Recorder and LOOPBACK can run together however we recommend to use one or another. WM Recorder should be used when connections to remote sites and downloads are possible. This is the most common situation. LOOPBACK should be used instead of WM Recorder in the following cases:
  • the remote web site does not allow connections or downloads. This situation occurs sometimes with Flash RTMP live or secure streams. In this case the LOOPBACK mode should be used. LOOPBACK reads data from the browser without connecting or downloading.
  • as an alternative to WM Recorder. In this case LOOPBACK can either download files if the DOWNLOAD mode is selected or loop-back the stream data if the LOOPBACK mode is selected.
LOOPBACK is a simple recorder mainly designed for recording Flash and HTTP media clips. It has a small, interactive user interface. WM Recorder includes more advanced features like scheduled recordings and user selected downloads. It can also record and process more media formats.
But you can definitely use the Loopback Recorder for capturing Flash videos (including RTMP streams), just use the LOOPBACK mode.
