Recording HDMI DishNetwork HD video to Toshiba DVD Recorder: Losing sides of pictureI am recording an HDMI DishNetwork HD signal to a Toshiba dvd recorder. The only way I can feed signal to it is over composite video or S-Video. Both ways lose part of the sides of the picture, although composite doesn't leave off quite as much. This may be normal since it is a downgraded picture. Playing with the screen sizing makes it worse. Is there any way to get the full image? I'm not really sure if it is an unwanted "zoom" effect or a chop off. I just see SCIF instead of SCIFI HD on the lower right for instance.
Thanks! |
