record live talk then edit commercials

i've only recently found this stuff out and was wandering if anyone experienced could tell me what is the best ripper for recording live streaming audio(talk radio, not music) then editing out the commercials. i already have the trial version of iradio and it doesn't seem to be that great.

Re: record live talk then edit commercials

You may use free sound editor Audacity for talk Radio stations.

p.s. More direct sound recording software...

p.p.s. Sometimes it is better to rip (download) from online radio rather than record from your sound card.
