Re: Problems streaming NHK World TV on VLCconfused.com,
On first sight, this software really seemed to do the trick. But unfortunately, it seems to record only 53 seconds of the live stream I'm trying to record then either declare the record "Complete" or showing an error message. First I thought this was one of the restrictions put onto the demo version and would disappear when I activated the software. But it didn't. This could, however, be due to a property of the stream, viz. being streamed in "blocks". So it's not the software's fault. But thank you anyway for the idea! - ninjagame |

Re: Problems streaming NHK World TV on VLCCommercial software,
down the toilet. You said that VLC worked for you 2 days ago. If I was you I would try the latest version of VLC. Check how old is your VLC, and if there is any later, give it a try. VLC team would ask you to do the same before reporting a fault. Their downloads (users) count in millions, this is maybe why you don't have personal attention from them. Try both 2.2.5 and 3. http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/macosx-intel/ |

Re: Problems streaming NHK World TV on VLCj_cool:
I'm currently running VLC 2.2.4 so if there's a 3.0.0, I'd better try this one. I'll keep you posted. Thank you for the tip! Update: VLC 3.0.0 did it! (2.5.5 didn't.) YOU MADE MY DAY! Thank you so very much!! Last edited by ninjagame : 03-12-2017 at 10:53 AM. |
