faiuse4wm still working for removing WMA/WMV DRM in Windows XP with WMP 10?

Hi,

I'm new to these things.

I got few videos downloaded from a online training website, but they all protected, just can play them only when i login
and got a key file or sth like that.

I tried to remove DRM using FairUse4WM in win XP, installed Mplayer 10, couldn't delete the : wmvcore.dll.
and didn't achieve anything.
I think the key is v2 , not DRM v1

Give me some input plz.
Thanks.

It depends on files you want to unDRM. For example, Zune forces you to upgrade WMP components, so you won't be able to use unDRM songs from Zune Marketplace.

Anyway try to follow the instructions from the 2009-01-10 FairUse4WM DRM-Remover Fix (by milOtis) thread.

Read Guide: How to uninstall/install Windows Media Player 9, 10, 11. Then uninstall WMP10 and WMP9. If you cant uninstall them although you have read it, then sorry you're not qualified for further support.

Once you have uninstalled WMP10 and WMP9, then reinstall WMP9 and also WMFR9 (wmfdist9.exe). Then reinstall WMP10. Then reinstall WMP10 again (re-overwriting the existing WMP10). Then post a screenshot of the version number of thefive.

After that, i can tell you how to proceed.
But since you're banned, game's already over. For you. :p
