How to get Blackmagic Design Intensity pro recording xbox 360?

 

Hi there.

I bought a Blackmagic Intensity Pro a few days ago and after much time spent messing about finding out how to set it up got it working. This lasted for about 2 hours and then it suddenly stopped working again.

Got an XBOX 360 connected to the intensity pro HDMI input then intenstiy HDMI output connected to TV.

in Blackmagic control panel:-

Set Output = HDMI & Component
Set Input = HDMI Video & HDMI Audio

In Blackmagic Media express - Edit - Preferences
Project Video format = HD 720p 59.94
Capture File Format = AVI Motion JPEG

XBOX video setting =
720p
Widescreen
HDMI

This was working before but now there is nothing coming through in Media express capture mode, just a black screen and my TV is giving a "no signal" message.

Have tested both HDMI cables and both work fine when connecting XBOX directly to the TV.

Is there anything else I can try or does it suggest that the card has broken?

The settings seems to be correct.

Try to turn off display discovery on the xbox.

Also try to capture with alternative software like VirtualDub.

If it doesn't help, try to contact Blackmagic support.

Hi all,

I have the exact same setup and the same problem, however it hasn't worked at all, so it didn't last for 2 hours.

I'm using Media Express and all my drivers are up to date.

I'm getting "No Remote" on Media Express

Please someone help out with this, I just bought the Intensity Pro and really want this to work.
