channelfireball.com: Need help with a stream using RTMPdump


 
I feel like I have tried a lot of different strings, and nothing seems to work. Thanks for any help given.

I should also note that this does work in Replay Media Catcher, but it gives me the downgraded flv, not the original mp4.

That's great! Totally works. But how about this. The stream that it grabs still seems to be the downgraded version. I admittedly don't know how these protocols work, nor how the player chooses the sample rate. Any ideas? The player seems to go to the high sample rate after about 30 seconds of play. I can't seem to get any other urls out of it though.

Replay Media Catcher and RTMPexplorer find and download exactly the stream that you start to play. Don't really know how to get a higher bitrate stream here. May be Wireshark can help.

The stream that starts to play is the lowest quality. If you wait for about 30 seconds while watching the stream in full screen, it switches to a different bit rate.

you can still get a result with rtmpsusk (RTMPexplorer).
