ten.com.au: I only get the advert from Channel Ten. How to download video?

 

Hello All,

I am wanting to capture the following video:

_http://ten.com.au/watch-tv-episodes-online.htm?movideo_p=41457&movideo_m=110042

I have used DownloadHelper and Flashgot, but all I can capture is the 1mb advertisement which is played before the actual program.

Is there a way to capture the program?

You can use some screen recorder to help you record the video you like.:)

Thanks clement for the suggestion. I have just tried a screen capture program, using the video on full screen and even "small" screen, but the video is not clear enough, also is "jumpy'.

i have no probs with GetFLV. Just wait for the RTMP-url to appear and select "Download" command. i am not sure what the title (and date) of your TV show/episode is so i've chosen some arbitrary show, see screenshot.

rtmpdump doesnt work because i have untested it.

They seem to use RTMPE streams, so you can try freeware RTMPexplorer, CooJah + Blader, shareware GetFLV.

rtmpdump doesnt work well with me so if anyone wants to test the site with rtmpdump or RTMPexplorer here is the australian proxy server:

i prefer my GetFLV payware solution because it downloads original bits and bytes (no quality degradation). I've never tested screen capturing tools. Maybe once i did.

Besides GetFLV works, you can also try freeware RTMPexplorer and shareware TubeDigger.
