Anyone knows the process of Kindle DRM: authentication,key for encryption,decryption

I'm very interested in the interaction between Kindle and publisher or authentication server. When kindle began to download a book, how can it complete downloading and reading? There must be some key for encryption and decryption. but got nothing from website search......
