Amazon has started selling Kindle 3G, Free 3G + Wi-Fi, 3G Works Globally, Graphite, 6" Display with New E Ink Pearl Technology - includes Special Offers & Sponsored Screensavers. Likewise the above mentioned Wi-Fi only version, the 3G version is also $25 cheaper - Amazon sells it for $164.

The Kindle 3G with special offers will offer the same functionality as a regular Kindle 3G. This means that you will receive free global 3G wireless coverage without annual contracts or fees in more than 100 countries.
