Good tools for capturing from USB grabber

Good tools for capturing from USB grabber

 

The title of the USB grabber that I got is "laptop integrated webcam" so I guess that capturing from it it's like capturing from a webcam.

I tried the windows movie maker, but it doesn't have much options.

I would like to have some control on the resolution, frame rate, bitrate, codec and the output container.
Usually I will want to chose something around 640*480 (or more), 25 fps, 1mbps, MPEG-4 and avi.
