Re: Error - Replay Media Catcher not Converting live FLV streams from cam4 to AVICould you please post the log above here (just select the text from the "Progress..." window, copy it and paste into your post)?
Have you tried to fix your FLV file with Replay Media Catcher before converting? What web-page were you recording from? I need it to try to replicate the problem and to try to find a solution. p.s. Also please note that you can use the official Replay Media Catcher forum. And you can submit a support ticket at www.applian.com |

What kind of conversion settings do you use? And why are you trying to convert to AVI? This container is pretty old. Will converting to MP4 or MKV be OK for you? |
Re: Error - Replay Media Catcher not Converting live FLV streams from cam4 to AVIyes
converte to: AVI Same Quality then open with virtual dub to edit split video |
Re: Error - Replay Media Catcher not Converting live FLV streams from cam4 to AVIIf you need to edit and split FLV videos only, try to use freeware AviDemux.
You can also try to open downloaded/captured FLV files with VirtualDub: How to open FLV files (FLV1 or VP6) with freeware editor VirtualDub |

Replay Media Catcher can not convert to AVI? |
Re: Error - Replay Media Catcher not Converting live FLV streams from cam4 to AVIThe conversion settings that you try to use (AVI Same Quality) don't seem to work here. This is probably because FLV files from cam4 use Nelly Moser audio codec (8000 Hz, mono).
I've tried to recompress audio audio and leave video ![]() but I got weird sounds only. Then I changed AVI to MP4 ![]() and got a playable file. I still suggest you to try to open FLV files with VirtualDub using the method mentioned above or AviSynth. Alternatively you can convert FLV video and then edit it, but you will lose quality then. |
