Is it a hack: chatroulette individual locking on to my IP or video feed

 

So while on chatroulette I found i was in between 'partners' when what did i see but someone was texting me. So I started talking back while it was searching for a new random. the person kept right on talking/texting answering what I was talking about. I asked how they were doing that but no answer they kept changing the subject. So I started hitting the next button thinking it was no really what I thought and sure enough it is. Apparently the individual is so how locking on to my ip or video feed and is able to keep track of me even though I am talking or viewing someone else.

Can someone please explain this? How is this doen and how do i do it?

You were on the real chatroulette site ? Because it seems really unlikely to happen ... Maybe its some sort of exploiting a problem in the system, but this shouldnt happen and will be fixed soon if it becomes more frequent.
I use lot of chatroulette site, like omegle or Bazoocam and it never happened to me ^^'

I was on hxxp://www.wocchat.com/chatroulette/ and when you would hit the next button it would show that that it was seeking. Once and a while it would not find a partner and keep seeking until i hit the next button again. It was in this instance that I noticed someone was still texting me.
So I spoke, they answered what I asked. I asked if they could see me and they said yes, then I got up and picked up the laptop and went for a walk around the house, they asked where I was going...
I pointed the cam/screen at my guitar on he wall and asked how good i was at playing.

All this after I had hit next a few times. I then continued to hit next and they were still chatting to me, They said their mic wasn't working but could hear and see me. I asked how they did it but got no answer. I had to hit the stop button and close the browser to be sure the connection was lost.
I notice when this happens I lose FPS on my cam image. Its already a touch laggy but then when this connection get made it gets even worse. say ~1sec.

I was wondering if it might be some RTMP thing?

I don't rellay see the difference between the chatroulette alternatives and the original, it's the same idea; some of them offer other services, ok, but in the end the people you meet and what you see on these websites doesn't change
