How to dump streams from Illicoweb Videotron

Difficulties:
- Multiple sessions are not allowed
- Stream viewing only possible when logged in with customer account

Howto:
- Sign on to Illicoweb, disconnect other sessions when prompted
- Select free content (haven't tried paid content)
- When playback begins, pause
- View Page HTML source
- Locate the following keys
Code:

mediaURL: "rtmpe://ip.ip.ip.ip/",
mediaStream: "M0_XXXXXXXXXXXXXxXX.sdp",

- Use the two values for rtmpdump:
Code:

rtmpdump -r rtmpe://ip.ip.ip.ip/ -y M0_XXXXXXXXXXXXXxXX.sdp -o filename.flv

Try to use rtmpsuck. It allows to capture RTMPE streams one by one.

Or try TubeDigger, GetFLV in the recording mode.

Re: How to dump streams from Illicoweb Videotron

Hi,
I'm a newbie in rtmp dumping. I tried rtmpdump but I ran into difficulties. I someone could help me.

First, I can't figure out how to download the latest version of rtmpdump. On there site, I only see the older releases.
Second, with the latest older release I download, I can't open the file rtmpdump.exe. It open but it instantly close in a blink. Is the fact that I have windows 7 matters?

If someone can help and/or send me a link to how to use command line in rtmp dump(which i know nothing about), i'd be grateful.

Thank you
