Hi Guy's

I have searched to see if this question has been asked before but cannot find one, so my question:

If not Iviewnapper is there an alternative

Yes, it is possible to download iView shows from Europe - provided you find a way to "look like an Australian" to the iView servers. What you're up against is the Region Blocking. iView is only served to Australian 'net connections.

Exactly, just google 'australian proxy' - or perhaps somebody here will be kind enough to post one.

As noted by Stream Ripper, Google is your friend. Also, to get you started, you can try one of these here:

My experience with the Australian proxies is that they can be quite slow, difficult to get a connection through to iView, and sometimes non-existent even. But persevere and sometimes you'll find a good one. ;)

[edit: Note that the ones that show on that web-page are usually free (the details are there), but the "Premium" ones are not free! ]

There are some alternatives to proxy servers:
How to access BBC iPlayer, Hulu, Fancast, Pandora, any other region-restricted sites
