How to shop in the USA when shipping outside the US is not allowed by a US sellerMany goods and products are much less expensive in the US, so it is a good idea to make online purchases in the US shops. The problems is that many US sellers do not ship to international addresses. Most online sellers ship to the US only and may be to Canada.
But you can shop on sites like Amazon, Buy.com, Overstock, Endless,... using services like Shipito that offer package forwarding, virtual mailboxes and even assisted purchases (you can buy products in the US online shops and auctions even if you don't have a credit card or when the seller accepts US credit cards only). Shipito services:
p.s. I've received 20+ packages to my virtual address that I got from Shipito, consolidated them and sent 6 packages overseas. Paid $50 for my first year and saved $623 by consolidating packages already: ![]() |
Re: How to shop in the USA when shipping outside the US is not allowed by a US sellerI've been using Shipito to forward products bought online in the US to Russia. Although their fees were smaller in the past, I can't find any service that is better. There are many small companies and just people who offer alternatives, but they are too risky for me.
Also I use Shipito because I really like to consolidate my packages and to remove boxes and other stuff that allows to make postage fees smaller. p.s. I wish they had an office in a state where there are no any sales taxes. Actually they do have them, but right now they don't offer consolidation and can ship by USPS only from California. |
