Windows Movie Maker and AVI Mux Gui

 

If you want to edit songs like trim beginning and end, and join songs you can try using Windows Movie Maker.

If you want to split a song up into separate parts use AVI Mux Gui, I think also you can join songs as well. It converts into .mka, but you always use like SUPER(c) to convert it into .mp3.
