Re: youtholympics.com - problem downloading secure RTMP video streamsYou need software that can capture RTMP packets to record videos from youtholympicgames.org .
Besides Replay Media Catcher and Jaksta you can try to capture RTMP packets with freeware Orbit Grab Pro and CooJah. |
Re: youtholympics.com - problem downloading secure RTMP video streamsYou can also record live RTMP streams with screen video capture software

Re: youtholympics.com - problem downloading secure RTMP video streamsBlader recognizes the stream but doesn't capture and reports:
Code:
Current Status:Error Unknown! I tried also rtmpsrv which reports: Code:
Streaming on rtmp://0.0.0.0:1935 It looks like only Jaksta, Replay Media Catcher and rtmpsuck can capture this type of stream provided that the browser is still open. I think this software uses another method of capturing. |
Re: youtholympics.com - problem downloading secure RTMP video streamsJaksta, Replay Media Catcher and rtmpsuck allow you to capture RTMP packets from your flash player. Although Jaksta and Replay Media Catcher can download RTMP streams as well.
Also Freeware Orbit Grab Pro and CooJah can capture RTMP packets. Orbit Grab Pro fails, so you can try to use Coojah (without Blader). |
Re: youtholympics.com - problem downloading secure RTMP video streamsI have noticed that I'm using an older relase of CooJah so I resolved to download the newest one (v. 6.8.193.0614). It works for me very well. Of course it's possible to capture a stream provided that I keep my browser open but if I understand well there's no other way to capture these RTMP streams.
Thanks for your help! |
