Video streaming on a mac


 
I am trying to record a stream from an embedded window within a web page. The site provides me with the code to add the stream to my web site and that code includes the /src= with the url. I have tried opening that url in VLC and it finds it but I only get audio and no video.

Can anyone advise please?
