how to use rtmpdump to play live RTMP stream

I want to play the live tv, but my mplayer can not play rtmp protocol, so i use rtmpdump to get the rtmp-stream.

Now rtmpdump can save the rtmp-stream as a flv file to local, but i want to play the stream continuously .

How can i play the live stream, or is there any other suggestion?
