How to capture PS3 gameplay from NVIDIA GeForce GT 230 graphics card using HDMI input

Hi guys

I have a PC with a HDMI port built in to the graphics card. This way i can play my PS3 through my computer which supports 1080p. Is there software that can record gameplay through this HDMI port on my computer?

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 230

PS3 uses HDCP when sending data over HDMI, so I don't think you will be able to capture your video.

But you can try programs like freeware VirtualDub.

Does your graphics card have a component (YPbPr) video input?

No, it has a composite (yellow, white, red) input and a HDMI input.

You can record SD videos from composite (RCA) input. For recording HD videos from PS3, you will need to use component video.

Also make sure your video card has inputs, not outputs.
