Why do you record Skype calls?

Why do you record Skype calls? Do you use your Skype recorder for your business or for personal call recording?

I use Skype recorder for recording my personal calls as well as all my business calls.

I record all calls when outsourcing my business tasks. I also record all my business calls and all calls with my bank, insurance agent, shops,.... It is very important to have such recordings in case of any dispute or even a law suit.

I also record my calls with my family. I just want to save some of them as family history.

And I record online training sessions like language lessons.

Why to record Skype: business calls:

To protect your business (to avoid disputes and conflicts with colleagues, subordinates, contractors, customers, ...)
To send recordings to freelancers, subordinates,...
To remember conversations
To record business meetings
To create training videos for freelancers, clients,...
To record interviews (with clients, for podcasts, for writing articles,...)
To record calls with support
To record instead of making notes (to refresh things and catch up anything missed during the call)
To record online conferences for those who can not participate in them (like your colleagues who are on vacation).

Why to record Skype: personal calls:

To record calls with children, grandchildren, parents, grandparents,... as family history
To record family interviews for a genealogy project, ...
To record interesting calls with your friends (to remember jokes, funny occasions,...)
To protect yourself when calling your bank, lawyer, insurance agent, real estate agent, car service, Internet provider, clinic, shop, ...

Sometimes for fun,sometimes for more *live practice*..For this needs I'm using Replay Telecorder for Skype

i use Skype recorder mostly for saving inteviews
