Audio Hijack Pro undetectable?

Hi,
I'm using audiohijack pro to record non-copyrighted online streams of public radioshows.

Do you know if audiohijack pro is completely undetectable by the host/website?

Does it record the soundcard output, or does it record the packets from the application before it gets to the soundcard?

Freeware Audacity for Mac records from sound card, so you won't be detected when recording audio with it.
