How to convert MPEG-2 .MPEG videos to DVD-Video with menu, without quality loss?I have recorded many videos with my TV Tuner using MPEG-2 video codec. Now I want to burn them to DVD-Video disc. The only problem is that I need to make DVD-Video without recompressing MPEG files (remux without quality loss). And I also need the software to be able to create DVD menu, because I have 5-10 files to burn to a DVD.
What software can I use to convert MPEG-2 .MPEG videos to DVD-Video losslessly? |
Re: How to convert MPEG-2 .MPEG videos to DVD-Video with menu, without quality loss? You can use a couple of good freeware DVD Authoring tools: DVDFlick (Windows) and DVD Styler (Windows/Linux).
Note that DVD Styler doesn't re-encode VOB and MPEG files if they use the following settings: -Video 720x576 (PAL) or 720x480 (NTSC) -Audio MP2 or AC3, 48000Hz (despite the fact that DVD compliant videos allows more flexibility) |
