Recording Never Converted

 

Hello, I recorded a 5 hour show last night off the internet. I have done this daily for 3 days, and today when the live stream was finished, I clicked on stop to end the recording but it never converted it, and I cannot find the file in the output folder I selected. Is there ANY chance that the file is still on my computer? I found the .ini file that was was in the file title on the recorder but no playable files. Please help!

I am using WM Recorder 14 on Windows Vista Home Edition.

Similar problem here. The file records for the appropiate length of time but then when it should close and say COMPLETE it doesn´t. Instead it remains at "Connecting" and "awaiting connection" for hours. If this process is interrupted, whatever has recorded is lost.
Why?

Make sure you DISABLE the UAC on your vista of win 7 machine - that should help :)
