Jaksta and CBS, inconsistent downloads

Started to use Jaksta a week ago to download from CBS. At first, I was actually able to download several streams at once, then several days ago I would only get partial downloads. I cut back to just one stream and now even that sometimes isn't completed. I look at the history and it says something about the connection being forceably closed. What's causing it and is there a solution? Jaksta doesn't seem to support restart of broken steams like GetFLV does so I have to start all over again once a download is broken.

Re: Jaksta and CBS, inconsistent downloads

Try to stop playing CBS streams as soon as Jaksta detects the stream.

You can also change the settings and capture packets from flash player (it is called recording in Jaksta) instead of downloading. Please note that you need the web-player to play the stream fully so that Jaksta can capture the stream.

Thanks. At first, I could close out my browser completely after using it to allow Jaksta to capture several streams at once. Then I was down to one stream, but still closing out the browser. I will keep the browser open this time, but I bet my speed will suffer. I'll also look into the recording option as I haven't tried that.

Please note that you shouldn't close your browser while capturing, otherwise there will be no source to capture from.

BUT when you download from Jaksta, it is a good idea to close your browser or to stop your streaming player.
