Which Media Streamer to stream music,video,photos,... from PC to TV

 

Hi folks, i am new to this forum and to Media Streaming, so please be gentle.

I am looking for a Media streamer i can use to stream music, video, photos and any other sorts of media from my PC to my TV.

I do not need a DVD player, but would need the following specs:

• HDMI output.
• Possibly optical out.
• USB input.
• Wired Ethernet connection.
• The ability to play all the popular video formats. EG : AVI, mpeg, DivX etc....
• The ability to play most music formats. EG: mp3, wma, etc.....

My budget is around 150 GBP.
Can anyone help me with some ideas or suggestions?
Any help would be appreciated.

A couple of network media players that you can use:
- WD TV Live HD Media Player
- ASUS HDP-R1 O!Play

They are cheaper than your budget ;)

Also if your HD TV is DLNA certified, you can connect it to your LAN, install a DLNA server onto your computer and watch videos and pictures, listen to music that is stored on your PC.
