NBC Videos! Help to download/capture/record Silverlight videos


 
Hi everyone! Help please?

im a teacher looking to use some olympic video for my classes. i was recommended Replay Media Catcher to download a video from NBC.
This is the video link in question:

But apparently it is using "silverlight". I still think its an flv file. Is there anyway around this? or know of any other programs that could help me?

I tried WM Recorder and WM Capture with no success.

I'd really appreciate any of your expertise! thank you!

Screen recording software is the best way to record Silverlight videos.

thanks downloader.. ill give it a shot.

recorder> I was playing the file in my browser. Put down my screen targets. I tried to view the recorded file, but there was no video or sound in the play back. I even tried updating my codecs. But no success. And thats what lead me here. Any ideas?

What operating system are you using?

I'm also trying to capture Olympics videos (I've bought the ones I can from iTunes; these aren't available anywhere), but I'm on a Mac! This is the video I'm trying to get:

WM Capture can record anything you see on your screen.

Even if you manage to launch WM Capture using Winebottler or Parallels, it may not work as good as in Windows. I recommend to get a screen recorder for Mac (although you can install Windows on your Mac and use Windows software as well), for example: ScreenFlow .

Jaksta for Mac was released recently. May be it will be able to download Smooth Streaming videos from Silverlight player.
