paid streaming website: can't play the stream in online Windows Media Player

 

hi

i am registered in a paid streaming website, it has a windows media stream, whose url is visible in page source, but , when i try to play the stream url either in wm player or online wm player, it couldnt play the stream ,

please tell em how can i get the working url from the website???

You may have problems playing Windows Media streams with your browser due to problems with Windows Media Player as well as your web-browser. You may need to change the settings of your web-browser to play Windows Media streams.

Also your firewall can be blocking Windows Media Player access to Internet.

i can play other windows media streams ... but not this one..

i am not sure if they used any encryption methods!!

please help me

If you are a registered users and authorized to play the stream, you should contact the support of the service to try to solve the problem

Sorry Guru, u r not geting my point!!

i can watch the stream when i login ....

i viewed the source code , and its showing the stream url as well .... when i embed in to another site , its not playing....

WindowsMedia streams can use protection. For example,there could be a timestamp in the URL.
