Screen recording software would be the best way for you to record the clips that you want from these videos.

Ok, sorry about PM. I thought this was deleted. I must've posted in wrong foum. Sorry about that.

I tried Replay screen recorder but my video goes real slow. And sometimes there are hiccups in the video I'm watching which the recorder also records.

I love camtasia for editing, but anything I record with that is all jittery and bounces all over the place. that seems to be a common issue with camtasia.

Did you mean Replay Video Capture by Replay screen recorder? Do you use MPEG-2 codec for recording? If you use Windows Media, please try MPEG-2 instead.

What kind of width and height has the video that you want to record?

Also please read the following:

Yes Replay Video Capture.

Normally the video feeds are something along the lines of 940x552 from gamecenter. I open replay then drag the screen setting to fit the video window and block out all the crap around it. Then record, I tried changing the frame rate to 30 and changing the bitrate to fastest. It gets a little faster but it's still slow.

This resolution seems to be larger than most screen video capture software programs can handle on most computers. Try to reduce the resolution of your screen.

However it seems to be much better to download the whole streams and split it afterwards. Some programs that allows to save/download/capture/rip HTTP flash video streams can capture packets from flash player, so you can also try to get a part of a stream with them.
