DVR Static IP configurationI given static ip in DVR network settings with gateway and subnet mask to view remotely.
But at the time of using static IP in internet explorer it is not connecting. |
Re: DVR Static IP configurationThere are to many variables. You may have to find a friend who is computer savvy, and have them take a look.
If the DVR is on the same gateway then you should be able to go in to CMD and ping the DVR ip address. If no then trouble shoot the wiring. If yes then you should have video on your local LAN. If the DVR uses active x then you may have to change a setting on your computer, (or computers). You need to go to internet options > security tab > custom level You need to change to prompt Download unsigned active X controls If the DVR is using a port number other than port 80 then you need to do port forward on your router. Based on your router you may have to make some changes. Allow for ping, and allow for unknown internet connections. http://scorpiontheater.com/videonetw...ithavtech.aspx |
