adlaunchR1: Breakdown of radio recording

I have enjoyed recording streaming concert broadcasts with the latest 2 realplayers for a long time now. I recently picked up "adlaunchR1" probably from a Michael Jackson ad the week before his film was released. I can't seem to remove it and it often (not always) aborts the connection with the radio station in realplayer radio.

Independent of this problem, I also have randomly experienced the failure of the recording function with stations that do allow recording (ie, stations where the record button itself is not disabled). When I finish the recording and "save" it, it turns out to have captured only the first few seconds of the segment even though it seemed to be in "record" throughout the segment. Reinstalling or running it as admin does not solve my problem.
