WM Recorder 14 & VPNs

 

How do I get WM Recorder 14 to copy the content from a VPN "adapter"?

It indicates some type of error - fog horn...

What web-page are you trying to record from? What VPN adapter do you use?

the vpn was alwaysvpn.com & the sites were abc.com or cbs.com

When I try to start the program when the vpn is running in the File line (on the face page) the message "Adapter not responding...."
The network connection page under WXP Pro network connections indicates that the network connection is Local Area Network; connected; Device name TAP-Win32 Adapter V8

Don't really know how OpenVPN functions... I usually get a similar error in WM Recorder when my firewall is blocking WMR.

Have you tried to record with WM Recorder in the WMX mode?

Yes, it copies everything but the episode being watched. I have PM the link to the episode in question as an example.

Hmmm, I was able to record that stream just fine using WM Recorder 14.1 with ADA mode and auto-record selected.

Are you ONLY trying to record this via a VPN Connection? If so, you won't be able to - as WMR won't work with VPN connections...

I am forced to use a vpn connection to gain access to the stream....

Could the ability to recorder using a vpn connection be added to the request list of the next updates for WM Recorder?
