Can't capture Funimation videos (rtmpe flash video stream). Please help!

Hey. I've been trying to capture some of the Funimation anime on their site

but have been unsuccessful. I've used Replay Media Catcher, but it will only capture the short advertisements before and in the middle of any given anime.

Does anyone have ANY leads on what would work?

Actually, if anyone can tell me what kind of video stream this is, I'd be happy to do the research myself. I don't have a problem doing the research. I'd just like to know where to start.

The best choice for the source you mention is GetFLV. I tried using rtmpdump, but there are three levels of url obfuscation, each which handed off to another rtmpe url. With rtmpdump, the ultimate url must be specified. It is too much work for this site, so just use getflv.

No, nothing really further to suggest.

The link to the content should look something like this:

rtmp://ne.fms.edgecastcdn.net.....

Whereas, the link to the ads is likely to be an http url like this:

http://cdn.tremormedia.com/ca/us.....

So, of course, be sure to select only the content link.

But if you're not getting a content link at all, I don't have any idea.

Since the content is sent using rtmpe/verify, GetFLV or rtmpdump are the only options (for direct stream capture).
